Shipping and logistics
Freight expertise.
Available independently.
Trident Investments provides chartering and freight management through a longstanding Athens-based shipping partnership. This capability supports our procurement programmes and is also available to clients with an independent freight requirement.
Which freight requirements are covered?
The service covers dry bulk, project cargo and tanker requirements. The shipping partnership provides access to vessel rates, routing and timing information across international trade routes.
Our industrial procurement experience includes Handymax bulk cargoes. The appropriate vessel and route for a new enquiry are assessed against the cargo, loading and discharge requirements and available schedule.
Do I need to buy materials from Trident?
No. Chartering is available as a standalone service. If you already have a cargo and require freight support, the shipping team can assess the requirement independently of a procurement relationship.
Where Trident also supplies the material, freight planning is coordinated with supplier qualification, cargo readiness and the required documentation.
How does the shipping partnership work?
Trident works with an Athens-based shipping specialist integrated into its operation through a longstanding partnership. The capability provides real-time market access for vessel rates and supports active vessel negotiation, routing and shipment timing.
This is a working shipping partnership. Freight terms and the scope of service are agreed for the particular requirement; historic savings on an earlier client programme do not establish a general pricing policy.
How are documentation and timing coordinated?
Cargo readiness, specification and the applicable documentation are considered alongside vessel availability. Compliance preparation and freight planning can run in parallel where timelines permit, with required approvals in place before cargo moves.
For a combined procurement and freight requirement, see industrial materials sourcing or specialist chemicals and energetic materials.
